Scopes

Peeling Ceilings

  • Stripping flaking paint
  • Surface preparation for a smooth finish
  • Oil-based primer for maximum adhesion
  • Application of high-quality, durable paint

Interior 

  • Ceilings:

    • Any flaking or peeling paint to be scraped off, any stains sealed with oil based sealer, any gaps, cracks and holes filled and sanded down.
    • Two coats of flat ceiling white acrylic applied.
    • Wet areas to be done in Anti Mould low sheen acrylic.
  • Walls:

    • Any flaking paint to be scraped off prior to any gaps, cracks, holes filled and sanded down. 
    • Two coats of interior acrylic applied.
  • Painted Woodwork:

    • To be lightly sanded down and dusted off, any gaps, cracks and holes filled. 

    • Primed or spot primed with one coat of undercoat followed by two coats of acrylic oil based enamel applied.

  • Stained / varnished woodwork:

    • To be lightly sanded down, followed by two coats of stain/or varnish applied.

  • Bare Gyprock:

    • To be dusted down and sealed with one coat of gyprock sealer prior to other coatings.

EXTERIOR

  • Gutters & downpipes:

    • Two coats of exterior acrylic applied. 

  • Fascias:

    • Any flaking paint to be scraped off, primed or spot primed with one coat of undercoat, 

    • any gaps and cracks filled and sanded down. 

    • Two coats of exterior acrylic applied.

  • Eaves:

    • To be dusted down, any gaps and cracks and holes filled and sanded down.

    • Two coats of exterior acrylic applied.

  • Weatherboards & gables

    Any flaking paint to be scraped off, primed or spot primed with one coat of undercoat. General gapping will be done but no gapping between/underneath weatherboards unless stated otherwise. 

    • Two coats of exterior acrylic applied.
  • Woodwork ( Windows, Doors, Frames)

    • To be sanded down and dusted off, any gaps, cracks and holes filled. 

    • Primed or spot primed with one coat of undercoat followed by two coats of enamel applied.

  • Timber Handrails:

    • Any flaking paint to be scraped off, primed or spot primed with one coat of undercoat followed by two coats of exterior acrylic applied. . 

  • Metal handrails:

    • To be lightly sanded down and dusted off, primed or spot primed with one coat of undercoat followed by two coats of top coats applied.

  • Timber Decks:

    • To be washed down with timber reviver product to help bring the timber back to life, followed by two coats of Dexspress  applied.

  • Rendered walls:

    • To be dust and blocked down followed by one coat of render sealer, followed by two coats of exterior acrylic applied.

  • Brick Painting:

    • To be dusted down followed by two coats of exterior acrylic applied. 

  • Timber Posts:

    • To be lightly sanded down and dusted off, primed or spot primed with one coat of primer followed by two coats of exterior acrylic applied.

  • Metal Posts:

    • To be lightly sanded down and dusted off, primed or spot primed with one coat of etch metal primer followed by two coats of metal shield applied.

  • Concrete surfaces:

    • To be pressure cleaned with a commercial grade high pressure cleaner to remove any dirt, dust and grime followed by two coats of concrete sealer.

METAL ROOF

To be washed using a water blaster that produces 4,000 psi of pressure, this will remove all mould, dirt, dust off the existing surface.

  • Apply Metal Etch rust cure primer to any rust spots.
  • Apply ONE coat of sealer / primer coat to the entire roof.
  • Apply 2 coats of acrylic membrane coats in the colour of your choice. 
  • Paint coats to be applied with a commercial airless paint sprayer.

TILED ROOF

To be washed down using a pressure cleaner that produces 4,000 psi of pressure, this will remove all mould, dirt and dust off the existing surface.

  • Apply a ONE coat of sealer / primer coat to the entire roof. 
  • Apply TWO coats of acrylic membrane coats in the colour of your choice. 
  • Paint coats to be applied with a commercial airless paint sprayer.
  • Re-bed any loose caps of ridge capping. ( If necessary ) 
  • Re-point all ridge caps with a flexible pointing mortar. ( If necessary )

DRIVEWAYS

Pressure to clean the driveway using a water blaster that produces 4,000 psi of pressure, this will remove all mold, dirt and dust off the existing surface.

  • Apply a TWO coat of Dulux Avista Concrete Sealer. 
  • Paint to be applied by Roller and Brush as per Manufacturer specification
